Sunrise Compass — Your Privacy Choices

Sunrise Compass collects no personal data, builds no profiles, and has no servers that store anything about you. That means there is no account to delete and no stored data to request, correct, or erase — there is simply nothing held about you anywhere.

Controls you have on your device

• Location — turn it off any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Sunrise Compass. The app keeps working with a manually chosen default region.
• Camera — revoke access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera. The AR view is replaced by a plain background; calculations still work.

Third-party services

The "Best sunrise spots" feature sends anonymous map coordinates (never your identity) to the open-source elevation services open-meteo.com and opentopodata.org. If you prefer not to use these services, simply don't open the Spots feature — the rest of the app works fully offline.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell, share, or otherwise disclose personal information — we never have it in the first place. No action is needed to opt out.
